7, Fanning became the youngest actress to be nominated for the Screen

make it to the NFL. The Woodland Hills School Board changed their
policies so that home schooled students could take part in
extracurricular activities so that Jason could play football.
Jason won a starting position at the University of Akron for his
freshman year. However, the NCAA revoked his scholarship because
he had been home schooled. With the assistance of the Home School
Legal Defense Association, Jason got his scholarship back and went on to

electricity. His parents homeschooled Bode until he was old enough
to go to a private high school Bode was a member of the U.S.

3. Authors - Christopher Paolini - Born
on November 17, 1983, Christopher was home schooled for his entire
life. He graduated high school at 15 through an accredited
correspondence course. At age 19 he became a New York Times best-selling
author. His credits include Eragon and its sequel, all set
in Alagaësia.
Agatha Christie - Agatha Christie
remains the most popular novelist in history, with over two billion of
her books sold (at a conservative estimate). Christie was educated
at home by her mother.
4. Painters - Jamie Wyeth - Jamie, a third generation artist, left
public school after the sixth grade to be tutored at home so he could
devote more time to art. Jamie's father had acquired most of his own
schooling from private tutors, and thus didn't consider a formal
education necessary for an artist. In addition to other accolades
and commissions, Jamie was asked to paint the post-humous portrait of
President John F. Kennedy. He participated in the NASA Eyewitness
to Space program, documenting the launch and splash-down of satellites,
